Comparing with ball mill, roller press has obvious energy saving effect and is the advanced representative of grinding technology in 1980s. The technical advantages of roller press make it widely used in grinding of cement, raw meal, slag and so on. In our country, roller grinding system is used for grinding cement rapidly. 
The efficiency of roller mill cement grinding system is inseparable from scientific technology management. This paper introduces the experience of process technology management in cement grinding system of roller press (except final grinding) from the aspects of personnel training, material quality, measurement requirements, ball mill accessories, system ventilation, grinding temperature and operation of main equipment. 
1 conduct comprehensive training for operators. 
1) Operators should be familiar with the process flow and equipment specifications and performance, understand the working principle, learn the normal operation methods and have the general fault diagnosis ability and accident prevention knowledge and skills.

2 Effect of material quality on cement production and quality 
Understand and master the quality of clinker, mixtures and proportions, and gypsum quality on the impact of extrusion and grinding, while doing as much as possible to reduce the size of materials (grain size, temperature, moisture) work, especially pay attention to the temperature of clinker into grinding. If the residual sieve drop appears inverted hanging phenomenon, the ball diameter may be larger or smaller, the grate discharge rate may be larger or smaller, according to the specific situation.
